How and when to book a Travel Health Clinic Appointment

We recommend a travel health consultation at least 6-8 weeks prior to departure; however travellers can still benefit from a consultation closer to travelling.

Please call us to book a dedicated 30 minute Travel Health Clinic consultation with your preferred doctor. Where possible, this will be followed by an appointment with our nurse for required vaccinations. Follow-up appointments may be required for some vaccines.

Joint members of the same travelling party may share the same 30 minute appointment with the doctor. Each member will be billed separately and will need a separate appointment with the nurse for vaccinations.

Please bring the following to your consultation:

  • A completed Springs Medical Pre-Travel Questionnaire (download document here).
  • A copy of your travel itinerary
  • Any previous immunisation records

Fees

All consultations, vaccinations and products must be paid in full at the time of consultation.

Please retain your detailed account and receipt as Private Health Insurance may rebate your vaccine costs – please check with your Private Health Fund.
